The name of station Gambir is so popular in Jakarta city, especially for those prefer to travel by train. Train transport in Java and other parts of Indonesia is less developping despite the fact of long history of rail and train existence in the country. It is well known of yearly mass exodus of the people from Jakarta before and after the holiday of Idul Fitri. During this season station Gambir is too crowded. From year to year the number of mass exodus always grows bigger and bigger with the same pattern. Starting 2002, the capacity of train can not accommodate the number anymore, as the transport is not develope so far.
