Historically Hungary was unavoidably influenced by the great kingdom of Byzantine which were together with some ethnics such as the Bulgars, Serbs and other slavic group, until they were subject of the Turks under the Ottoman dynasty, and within short time all ethnics starting from Hungarians and all other slavic ethnics were under the radiation of Mongol - Muslim of Turks with the center at Constantinople ( now Istanbul ), yet the influencer ( Turks ) found that they way they consider their religion is just like their west counterpart, while those Slavic ethnics including Hungarian followed Roman Catholic, and had not any agreement with orthodox Eastern Church. Between 678 - 718 AD Hungary was under the rule of Turkish Islam kingdom under the Ottoman dynasty, and the kingdom of Islam reached their peak in 732 AD to include current land of Portugal and Spain to the west. At that time Islam under the Turks appreciate art. The spirit had born the most beautiful Mosque in the world such as Mosque ( now church ) in Granada and Istanbul.
